• Notification of Contract:
By submitting an application to ITTO whether online or by postal means, you should be aware that you are entering into a legal written contract between yourself and ITTO and that both parties are bound by the terms and conditions as outlined below.
• Credit Card Fraud:
ITTO prosecutes all credit card fraud.
• Installment Agreement:
If you enroll with the first half of the total course fee, the 2nd fee will automatically be charged (to your card) 30 days later. If you will send your first payment through Paypal or Bank Transfer, it is your responsibility to submit your 2nd payment on time. Failure to submit your 2nd half means that your course will be put on hold until the remaining fee has been received.
• Credit Card and Bank Transfer Fees:
Please note that credit card companies and banks often charge for their service. This charge may vary from country to country.
• Data Protection:
ITTO will not divulge any personal information submitted either through electronic or other means to any party not directly associated with ITTO.
• Job Guidance Program:
a) The ITTO Job Guidance Program aims to assist its graduates with job contacts within two weeks of successful completion of the course. In order to achieve this, the trainee must participate fully in all aspects of the Job Guidance Program and provide any relevant documentation that may be required.
b) Upon successful completion of the Online TEFL TESOL course and the 5 days of teaching practices, native English speaking trainees holding a College Degree will automatically qualify for guaranteed paid job placement in Mexico
• Cancellation Fees:
Should a trainee wish to withdraw from the course at any time, they should be aware that the course fee is non refundable. Please note that all outstanding course fees are due before the ITTO Online training courses begin. In rare exceptions concerning health matters, when full refunds are issued: ITTO will retain 30% of the full tuition fee, excluding any special discounts offered, for administrative fees. When the online course has been started, ITTO will retain 30% of the full tuition fee, excluding any special discounts offered, plus an additional 10% for each unit finished. See definition of “unit” on our website.
• Special Needs:
If you require any special assistance, you must inform ITTO ahead of your application submission to ensure that your need may be met. Please call/contact ITTO course Administration immediately if you are at all in doubt.
• Health Matters:
Should a trainee be forced to withdraw from the course for health reasons over the duration of any of the Online training courses, ITTO, on receipt of doctor’s sick note, will be happy to place the trainee on stand-by status at no further cost. Such placement must be made at the discretion of ITTO course Administration.
• Failure to Complete the Online training course:
a) Should a trainee unsuccessfully complete any of the ITTO Online training courses for either academic, attendance reasons or not being able to successfully finish the course in the 1 year time limit, no monies are refundable. If the failure was for academic reasons a retake of the Online TEFL training course may be granted, at no additional cost at the discretion of ITTO Course Administration.
b) Should a trainee withdraw of their own volition from the Online training courses, no fees may be refundable.
c) Should the trainee be discriminatory in any way e.g. racially, sexually, gender, mentally, physically or verbally, to any member of staff, other trainees, students, teachers and people involved or studying with ITTO. The trainee will be ejected from the course, and is not entitled to any form of monetary compensation.
• 5-Day Teaching Practice Program:
Should a trainee withdraw of their own volition from the 5-Day Teaching Practices Program, no fees are refundable.
*They should be aware that the course fee is refundable only in exceptional circumstances at the discretion of ITTO’s management for which only the following may be refunded depending on how early the trainee cancelled.
2 Weeks before: 70% of remaining fees may be returned.
1 Week before: 50% of remaining fees may be returned.
1st Day: 30% of remaining fees may be returned.
2nd Day and on: 0% of remaining fees may be returned.
• Online TEFL TESOL Course Completion:
The ITTO Online TEFL TESOL Courses shall be completed in the lapse of 1 year. Should the trainee need more time, he/she may purchase a 6-month extension for a $50 USD fee. If more than one and a half year has passed from enrollment date, there will be a charge of $200 USD for a 6-month extension.
• Online Specialty Certificate Courses Completion:
ITTO’s Online Specialty Certificate Courses, such as the Teaching Business English and TESOL Technology Courses, shall be completed in the lapse of 6 months. Should the trainee need more time, he/she may purchase a 6-month extension for a $50 USD fee. If more than one and a half year has passed from enrollment date, there will be a charge of $200 USD for a 6-month extension.
• ITTO’s Job Offer:
This program is only for ITTO’s graduates with a High Pass Grade or above, and to native English speakers holding a passport from the UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, USA, Canada and South Africa. Most teaching positions require a College or University Degree. If you are interested in teaching through the job offer program and meet the above mentioned criteria, we will connect you with our job contacts to guide you through the job offer process and provide you with great service.
The Job Offer Program does not guarantee a teaching position nor placement. A job offer will be made only when initial requirements are met. The process will then be followed by an interview if the curriculum matches the requirements for the specific position. ITTO is not acting as an employment agency; the Job Offer program is solely for the purposes assisting you on your teaching career.
