furthering their studies with actual, live teaching practices at our partner school in
Guadalajara, Mexico.
In ITTO's Internationally Recognized Teaching Practices Certificate Program, trainees have real teaching practices
with genuine EFL students at our Partner School with 2000+ students of all ages and of all

Invaluable Teaching Experience and Helpful Feedback:
Many people opt to take our online training course as opposed to our in-person course due to time
and other constraints. We have worked hard to make our online TEFL TESOL course effective and
in-depth, emulating our in-person, immersion course to every extent possible. However, one area
where the online course simply can not replace the in-person training course is in the teaching
practices, where trainees teach to actual EFL students in front of our seasoned trainers who
provide feedback and grade the trainees every step of the way. Now, the option to come to our
school to take part in this vital step of your learning process is available to all
TEFL, TESOL, or TESL certificate holders. |

More Practice Hours With Real EFL Students:
If you are currently enrolled in or thinking about enrolling in our online TEFL training course, we
highly recommend that you take part in these actual 5-day Teaching Practice Program. Live teaching
practice in a real classroom environment is one of the final and most important steps to becoming
an effective, successful TEFL TESOL instructor. We believe it is so essential that our teaching
practices are 10 hours minimum, greatly surpassing the international standard, which recommends 6
hours. Also, we can not emphasize more how important it is to have these teaching practices in as
realistic an environment as possible. Teaching practice for some providers means teaching your
peers or some providers account team teaching as formal teaching practices. We do not. You will
teach real students individually and be observed and critiqued for ten full classes by your personal
tutor. We do not promote team teaching, as it is not a realistic EFL setting. Other providers will
offer 6 hours of observed teaching practice per trainee group and not per individual trainee. You
are individually observed by several professional trainers.
Excellent Training in a Beautiful Setting - Guadalajara, Mexico:
Our teaching practices run over one long weekend (Thursday through Tuesday with a day off on
Sunday) each month in our school in the beautiful and historic downtown area of Guadalajara
– Mexico's second largest city, located 300 km from the Pacific coast in Central Western
Mexico.
Guadalajara is known for its enchanting beauty, historic architecture and very affordable and
excellent amenities and accommodations. While attending our school you will not only receive top
notch training, you will also receive it in this beautiful city, which has a fantastic flavor of
local culture as well as excellent restaurants and an exciting nightlife. Guadalajara´s
neighboring towns of Cocula and Tequila are the birthplace of Mariachi music and our national
drink.
Free Spanish Lessons:
While you enjoy beautiful Guadalajara, take a one week formal intensive Spanish course valued
at $248 absolutely FREE! These may take place either before or after your long weekend of
teaching practices from Monday through Friday only.
To help make you feel confident in your new surroundings before the start of your Teaching
practices will provide you with 25 hours of specialized Spanish instruction absolutely free at
one of the finest Spanish language schools. (The only charge is a small fee for a book to take
the course, approximately $30 USD).
The school is fully equipped with extra resources and is located right across the street from

Free Specialty Courses:
ITTO offers free Specialty certificates in specific skill areas for specialization in your TEFL
TESOL Course. These Specialty Certificates can be done on your own with tutor support
during the course of your teaching practices. Each will give you an edge for getting a
better-paying job in a broader variety of TEFL TESOL teaching contexts. You may earn one or
all 11, depending on your dedication and desire. Remember, many schools are charging $150 to
$300 USD for each of these extra certificates, but at ITTO our graduates may earn these awards
at no cost. A Specialist Certificate will take an average of 3 hours and combines self-study
with face to face feedback from your personal tutor. These are taken either before or after your Teaching Practices.

Guaranteed Paid Job Placement Program:
Upon successful completion of your 5 days of teaching practices, you will receive a certificate
of attendance. This proof of your participation in our well-known and respected TEFL TESOL
training school is an important step towards becoming a successful TEFL TESOL instructor.
Trainees, who are native English speakers holding a college degree, will automatically qualify
for guaranteed paid job placement in Mexico.
For guaranteed job placement in Mexico, applicants must meet the following
requirements:
- Have a TEFL, TESOL, or TESL Certificate of at least 100 hours issued by ITTO or another reputable institution. Subject to the
review of ITTO.
- Be a native English speaker.
- Be 21 years of age or older, at time of start of assignment.
- Have a 4 year college or university degree.
- Have a valid passport. Although only a tourist permit is required to enter Mexico. Traveling
abroad on a passport is always better. A passport is also necessary for processing your work
permit.
Important Note: ITTO will not help in the visa process. It is the enrollee's responsibility to research the visa process and issue own visa.
- Applicants must be myriad-minded, flexible, independent, and in good health.
- Must enjoy working with children, teens or adults, at either schools, language centers or
in-company.
- Be available to work mornings and/or evenings.
- Submit a cover letter and resume. Upon request, we may provide formats for you to adapt your
own.
- Be able to commit to a job for at least 6 months.
- Have 5 different options anywhere in Mexico. These must be cities of a population of at least 100,000.
