The International Teacher Training Organization (ITTO) focuses a great deal on the
relationships that develop in the world of Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language.
One of those relationships is with the local culture and people where you may be teaching.
For us, this relationship is of paramount importance.
Many see our program as a springboard to a career full of culture, travel, amazing experiences,
and great friends. Because of that opportunity to provide the "best of both worlds"
for those within the program, we have also realized that there are quite a few who don’t
have the “best of” anything. Some of those people are right here in our own
backyard and really need the help of charitable organizations, but those organizations cannot
function effectively without funding.
Here at the International Teacher Training Organization (ITTO), we have decided to do
something to help. Donations are made to the following national charitable organizations to
help those in such situations throughout Mexico:
Mama A.C.
This organization is dedicated to working with the poor, especially children and young mothers.
You can check out their website at
http://www.mama.org.mx
Caritas
This organization is also dedicated to working with the poor, but focuses more on those with
illnesses and disabilities. Their website is located at
